WoW Dragonflight Trial of Storms – How to start & complete

Get ready for your trial.

The Trial of Storms is an event for World of Warcraft Dragonflight players as of the 10.0.7 update. These events are marked on the map with a treasure chest over an eight-sided star, so they are difficult to miss. Here's how you can complete the Trial of Storms in WoW Dragonflight.

Players looking to begin the event simply fly over the Storm-Bound Chest icon on the map and get started. From there, the event will act pretty much the same as the Primal Storm events that were introduced in Dragonflight at the start of the expansion.

Just defeat some enemies, complete the event, and open up the chest for the reward. The rewards include the likes of a Primalist loot token, Zskera Vault Key, Elemental Overflow, and Condensed Magic Stone. The latter item turns into a Primordial Stone gems, which is used to socket the Onyx Annulet.

What are Evolved Storms in WoW Dragonflight?

Players who want more world events to complete might be interested in the Evolved Storms events. These ones are indicated by the Skull icon on the map, and it will drop a Primordial Stone gems upon completion.

They are always in front of the Froststone Vault, so players won't ever have to look far to find these. They pop up sporadically over the course of the day, so players do need to keep an eye out on their map to see when one is active. Unlike the Trial of Storms, these events aren't tied to a weekly timer, so there's more chances at being rewarded for players who are paying attention.
