How to fix alt-tabbing crash in Diablo 4

To fix the Diablo 4 alt-tabbing crash, open your document folder first. You can find your document folder by typing "document" into the search bar at the bottom left of your screen. After opening your documents folder, search for "Diablo 4" inside it. When you find the Diablo 4 folder, delete it. Doing so should fix the alt-tabbing error, and your game will stop crashing. Should your game continue to crash, other possible fixes you can try are the following:

  • Uninstall and reinstall your graphics driver
  • Change to an earlier version of your graphics driver
  • Play in Borderless or Window mode
  • Change or lower graphic settings like V Sync, and HDR
