Late this morning, Gameloft reveled the date for the long awaited Update 4 of Disney Dreamlight Valley. The update will drop on Wednesday, April 5, one week after the timing of the Twitter announcement. In the past, pieces of Key Art have been included with each update announcement to the early access title. Occasionally, hints at upcoming content can be gleaned from these images. This announcement did not include any key art for Update 4.
Update 4 for Disney Dreamlight Valley to arrive on April 5
In a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of way, The release date for Update 4 was simply listed in a moving image reminding players of the content they can expect to be coming soon. It's almost as if the developers wanted to experiment with an early April Fool's joke. Having a release date this early in April strikes us as a nice surprise, rather than a prank.
The content coming in Update 4 was already released a few months ago in an update roadmap. No changes have been made to that information between then and now. Simba will be arriving along with a new Lion King inspired Realm in the Dreamlight Castle. Other Lion King may be arriving with him, as well. There will also be a new Star Path centered around a Disney Parks theme, presumably Disneyland and Disneyworld. Although, there are other international parks that could be included.
