Genshin Impact Asipattravana Itihasa World Quest guide – Khvarena of Good and Evil

Asipattravana Itihasa is a Genshin Impact World Quest in the Khvarena of Good and Evil quest chain set in Sumeru's Girdle of the Sands. It's automatically unlocked after completing The Splendorous Sky That Day. You'll come to know Mihir, who must fulfill their cleansing pilgrimage to rid the Vourukasha Oasis of defilement.

During this World Quest, you need to use Sorush to disperse purple mists in the swamp a few times. The mechanics for it are the same every time, so we'll run you through how in a separate section below. How to Awaken the power of Khvarena and disperse the purple mist in Genshin Impact – Asipattravana Itihasa

First, you must equip Sorush from the Gadget section of your inventory. Sorush can be activated using the Gadget button (Z for PC). When you're controlling Sorush, you will gain a set of skills depending on the situation.

Sorush's controls can be seen on the bottom right of the screen and differ per device. The PC controls are below, but check your screen for your controls:

• Right mouse button - fly faster
• Space - fly higher
• Left CTRL - fly lower
• E - use Sorush's power
• Q - special skill (aid of the thorns for this quest)

Step One: Activate Thorny Branches

To get rid of the purple mist, you first need to look for a Thorny Branch within the highlighted area in the mini-map. It looks like the above. Approach it using Sorush, then hit the Elemental Skill button to activate Sorush's skill.

Activating the Thorny branch will connect it to the purple mist, which will spawn three defiled entities (purple puddles). You need to "defeat" them within the time limit.

Step Two: Obtain Nirodha Fruit

Nirodha Fruits are thorny plants (pictured above) that grow on branches within the highlighted area in the mini-map. Use Sorush to approach a Nirodha Fruit, then use the Elemental Skill button to activate their skill. You only need to obtain one Nirodha Fruit for the whole challenge.

Step Three: Defeat all defiled entities

Using Sorush, fly toward a defiled entity (purple puddle) and align the red marker so that the defiled entity is inside.

Wait for a purple lump to appear from the puddle. As soon as it does, use Sorush's Elemental Burst to get rid of it. Doing so will completely defeat the defiled entity. If it's still there, try again. There are three defiled entities per round.

How to complete the Asipattravana Itihasa World Quest in Genshin Impact

Upon starting the World Quest, follow the quest navigator toward the glowing spot in the Asipattravana Swamp. This will prompt a cutscene and dialogue with Sorush. Once that's done, follow the floating Khvarena (floating green orb) until it stops.

You need to awaken the power of Khvarena and disperse the purple mist. We provided the full walkthrough of how to do this in the previous section above, so refer to it if needed. Meanwhile, you can refer to the slideshow above for the locations of the Thorny Branch and Nirodha Fruit.

Once the previous puzzle is done, follow the floating Khvarena (green orb) again until it stops. You will have to disperse another purple mist. The locations of the Thorny Branch and Nirodha Fruit are circled above.

Follow the Khvarena (green orb) again. The path ahead will be blocked, but the Khvarena will automatically unblock it for you as it passes through. Once you're through, head east of the purple mist to find Mihir, which will prompt dialogue with Sorush.

Next, you need to save Mihir. Use Sorush to activate the Thorny Branch above. Hilichurls will spawn instead of purple puddles. Defeat the Hilichurls to complete this segment. Then, speak with Mihir to proceed.

You need to follow Mihir toward the exit. Along the way, some Hilichurls will spawn. Defeat them and keep following Mihir to proceed. Once you reach the exit, you'll trigger dialogue with the two Pari. Choose "Let's go together" to be teleported to the Vourukasha Oasis, where a cutscene and dialogue will trigger. You'll unlock the Wonders of the World Achievement called Like a Morning Sun Coming out of Gloomy Mountains.
