Nimbus is a Support Exosuit in Exoprimal that is one of the most mobile and unique, with her back-and-forth switch between damage and healing. I enjoy playing her the most because of her fast-firing dual guns. However, whether she is one of the best Exosuits or not could be entirely up to how you choose to build and customize her. Rigs and Modules could make or break a Suit with their special buffs and boosts. So here's everything you need to know to make Nimbus excel and use her abilities to best their strength!
How to unlock Nimbus in Exoprimal
Nimbus is a special extra Exosuit option in Exoprimal that players will need to purchase in order to unlock her. You'll have to wait to reach player level 20 to purchase her with the in-game currency Bik Coin, or you'll have to purchase the Deluxe Edition or Head Start Kit DLC to get her right away.
How to customize Nimbus Suit in Exoprimal
Each Exosuit can be customized to your liking by switching out their Rigs and Modules and customizing them cosmetically by changing their skins. Nimbus is a support Suit, so I find it's better to focus on upgrades that can optimize your healing techniques and her speed. Take a look at our lists of some of the customization options that we feel work best for her:
Best Nimbus Rigs
Rigs are interchangeable on every Exosuit. They add a special extra ability to your collection depending on which you have equipped. Since Nimbus is a Support Suit, I find that the more protective and healing Rigs work best:
Aid
The Aid Rig shoots out an energy projectile that creates a repair field. This repair field will heal any allies that are standing in its radius. Since Nimbus' heals focus one ally at a time, this Rig can be very helpful for healing all teammates at one time with AoE.
Shield
Another Rig that I feel works best with Nimbus is the Shield Rig. Much like the Aid Rig, the Shield Rig deploys and fields, only this one is a shield that will block some incoming projectiles and keep your teammates safe within the radius. This is a great extra support move, giving Nimbus a bit more time to heal endangered teammates.
Best Nimbus Modules
Modules are special upgrades that can be equipped to each Suit that grants them buffs and boosts in specific areas. Each Suit has its own Suit Modules specific to them, along with some Base Modules that can be equipped by any Suit. These are the Modules that I find work the best to bring Nimbus max efficiency:
Module 1: Speed Shot
One of Nimbus' best qualities is her speed, so her speed shot continues to build upon those already great assets. It boosts her health repair by 20%, increases the speed of her projectiles, and allows them to pass through allies. The only downside is it removes the homing effect.
Module 2: Rapid Switch
Nimbus has to switch from damage to healing to repair her allies, so Rapid Switch comes in clutch. It allows her Switch to work faster and decreases some of that cooldown time so she can switch back and forth with ease.
Module 3: Quick Holo
Again, focusing on her speedy elements, Quick Holo allows Nimbus to use her Holo ability much faster and have less of a delay to reactivate again. This will keep Nimbus spry and ready to be by an ally's side as quickly as she can. Or, if she needs to make a quick getaway, her Holo will be up and ready to go.
Base Modules
Base Modules are small buffs that any Suit can equip. Though they might not be as useful as the Suit Modules, they can still come in handy. Here are some of the best Base Modules I would recommend using for Nimbus:
- Regeneration
- Reload Efficiency
- Recovery

All Exoprimal Nimbus Abilities & Stats
Nimbus is a truly balanced character because not only can she provide extra firepower to a team, but her healing can be potent as well. Her abilities offer the best of both worlds, and when you have the right Rigs and Modules equipped, she can be extremely powerful. Take a look at all her abilities below:
Mars & Apollo
Mars and Apollo are Nimbus' trusty dual handguns. They shoot together as single-fire projectiles, either inflicting damage to enemies or healing allies depending on the Rend or Mend switch.
- Damage: 30-60
- Healing: 150
Mode Switch
Mode Switch is what changes the dual handguns, Mars and Apollo, from damaging mode or healing mode. It also automatically reloads the weapons as you use it.
- Swap Time: 1 second
- Cooldown: 4 seconds
Holo Warp
Holo Warp is one of Nimbus' unique abilities that sends out a forward-moving hologram. It recalls allies that it hits or can be used to warp to its location and heal allies nearby more quickly.
- Duration: 3 seconds
- Healing: 200
- Cooldown: 16 seconds
Spreadshot
Spreadshot is a heavy-hitting ability that sends out a barrage of shots all at once. Depending on whether you have Heal or Rend selected, it will do more damage or more healing to players at a time.
- Damage: 25x11 (275 total)
- Healing: 25x11 (275 total)
- Cooldown: 10 seconds
Antipode Burst
Antipode Burst is an On-Death ability that is triggered only when Nimbus has fallen. It sends out are shockwave that heals players in the radius and repulses any enemies.
- Damage: 100
How you choose to build up Nimbus is entirely up to you. Different combinations of Rigs and Modules will create a different experience, and whether they are most effective is completely up to your skill and comfort. Let us know what Rigs and Modules you found the best for Nimbus!
