Starfield console commands and cheats

You know what they say, desperate times, desperate measures!

Exploring the vast outer space in Starfield can be very demanding. More than once, I found myself in a pickle, cornered by pirates or marauders with no apparent means of escape. Once, I even foolishly went on a base-clearing mission without saving, only to be one shot by the very last person alive. Situations like this make you want to tip the odds in your favor, so this guide will cover console commands and cheats available in Starfield.

What are the console commands and cheats in Starfield?

I have compiled the following list of console commands and cheats for Starfield in the list below. Press the tilde key (~ symbol on your keyboard) to input a command and type the codes in the command terminal. Remember: using some of the commands will disable achievements.

  • tgm: Turns on God mode, making you invincible, able to carry unlimited weight, and grants you unlimited stamina.
  • tcl: Toggles collision. This enables you to go through walls.
  • tai: This command kills AI, rendering all NPCs completely unresponsive.
  • player.additem 0000000f 500#: Gives player 500 credits. You can type in any number you need.
  • player.additem 0000000a 500#: Gives player 500 digipacks. You can type in any number you need.
  • player.setlevel 12#: Sets the level cap to 12. It is unconfirmed whether you can go over the game's level cap.
  • tm: Toggles UI. Perfect for taking screenshots.
  • tfc: Toggles free camera movement. Combines very well with the command above.
  • tmm 1: Permanently adds map markers to a planet.
  • kill: By typing this command and clicking on a desired NPC, you will instantly kill them. This only incapacitated vital characters. Avada Kedavra!
  • resurrect: Brings NPCs from the dead. It also reverses the command above.
  • killall: Kill all NPCs in an immediate vicinity around you.
  • player.additem [Item ID] [#]: Adds a certain item to your inventory in a desired quantity.
  • player.setav speedmult [#]: Sets the character's speed.
  • player.setav health [#]: Sets your max health level.
  • sexchange: Sets the gender of your character.
  • psb: Grants you every power in Starfield.
