Cyberpunk 2077 has an intricate perk and skill system, which can seem confusing at first. As you play the game more and more, you'll learn new things about character customization and builds. In this guide, let's talk about the Shinobi skill and how it works in Cyberpunk 2077.

You can find all your skill levels, including Shinobi, in the Skill Progression tab located in the Character menu. Although the game doesn't explain what it stands for, Shinobi is synonymous with Ninja and refers to a stealth-focused playstyle. Leveling up this skill can grant your character significant movement and stamina-related buffs.

How to Increase Shinobi Level

While Shinobi is supposed to promote a stealthy gameplay style, I don't think that's entirely the case in Cyberpunk 2077. It's associated with using bladed weapons, primarily the Katana. Furthermore, I've also gained considerable amounts of Shinobi points while using Assault Rifles and Submachine Guns, and they weren't even suppressed. You should also try unlocking perks from the Relfex and Cool attributes and incorporate movement into your attacks.

You are rewarded skill points after every combat and the points allocated pop up on the left of your screen. What you can do is travel around Night City and take out goons, who can be found in small groups everywhere. Try different weapons and attack styles to figure out what else increases Shinobi XP in addition to the methods I talked about above.
