Fallout 76 Error During Bethesda.net Login – How To Fix

Having problems?

If you're running into issues logging into Fallout 76, you're usually not alone. If you have a problem with the Bethesda.net login, there's unfortunately not a lot you can do to get around it outside of being patient.

How to fix Fallout 76 Bethesda.net login error

If you are having trouble with the login, Bethesda says the issue is usually because the servers are down. You can check the server status by visiting this page. If you see the servers are offline, then you'll know that's the answer to your question. You'll be able to see the status of all Bethesda games through that page, so it's a nice one-stop shop for their entire catalog.

However, if that page shows you the servers are up and you're still running into login problems, then you're in trouble. Bethesda pushes you to contact customer service if that's the case, and from there, it'll be in the game developer's hands. In most scenarios, you won't have to take this step because it'll usually just mean the servers are down.

Are Fallout 76 private servers affected by server outages?

Even if you're on a private server, the login issue will persist as the private servers aren't actually offline. Server outages aren't usually prolonged, so the downtime shouldn't be too long if you do find they are having problems.

At the very least, going into a private server with a group of friends should mean you can double-check if the issues are happening to everybody or if it's just you. Misery loves company, and it's nice to know that you're not the only one having problems.
