How to get Silencer achievement in AC Mirage

No more honking!

If you're a completionist like me, then you're probably looking to get the Silencer achievement in Assassin's Creed Mirage. The Silencer is a trophy you can earn by destroying a horn bearer's horn with a throwing knife. Although the objective may seem relatively straightforward, horn bearers have no precise location and can be difficult to find. If you're having trouble finding a horn bearer, this guide will point you in the right direction.

To get the Silencer trophy in Assassin's Creed Mirage, you must destroy a horn bearer's horn with a throwing knife. For those who don't know, armored enemies are the only characters in the game who carry a horn on their back, which they use to sound an alarm and summon nearby guards if they detect any intruders in restricted areas. As such, you'll need to track down this specific enemy type in order to get the Silencer achievement.

Where to find armored enemies in Assassin's Creed Mirage

Armored enemies can be found at the following locations in Assassin's Creed Mirage:

  • Metal Factory: The metal factory is located in Harbiyah, where an Armored enemy guards the entrance.
  • The Great Mosque: Armored enemies can also be found guarding the mosque in the city of Baghdad.
  • The Winter Palace: This location might look familiar to you if you remember one of the first missions with Nehal, where Basim was just a regular thief. Back then, you didn’t have the throwing knife tool, but you can return to this place later when you unlock it.

To complete this achievement, I would suggest heading to the metal factory in Harbiyah, as it has less security compared to other aforementioned locations. Keep in mind that the metal factory is a restricted area, so you need to stay out of sight of the guards while you do this. There's also a Gear chest on the second floor that you won't want to miss.

First, sneak into the metal factory from the back door and hide behind the wooden gate. Wait for the armored enemy to come near you, then press RT on your controller to select your throwing knife and throw it at his horn to break it.

After that, the Silencer achievement will be marked as completed, and you'll receive the subsequent trophy in Assassin's Creed Mirage.
