Assassin's Creed Mirage puts you in the role of Basim, a street thief turned Hidden One Master Assassin. While everyone can reach this title their own way, I found several fun builds on my own journey. You may wonder what the best builds are in Assassin's Creed Mirage; let's find out below.
Best Builds in AC Mirage: Poison, Berserker, & Assassin
Builds are a bit more limited in Assassin's Creed Mirage, as it returns to its roots and ditches a lot of the RPG mechanics in previous titles. However, you can still customize your playstyle with tools, skills, and gear. Here are the best playstyles I've found in AC Mirage.
Poison Build - AC Mirage
- Outfit: Hidden One Outfit
- Sword: Hidden One Sword
- Dagger: Hidden One Dagger
The Poison build in Assassin's Creed Mirage focuses on killing enemies with poison rather than outright killing them. Your primary tools are the Throwing Knives with the Poison Tip upgrade, Blowdart with the Lethal Dose upgrade, and the Smokebomb with the Choking Fumes upgrade. The Hidden One set for your sword, dagger, and outfit are also the best choices.
The Hidden One sword will poison enemies on every fifth strike once upgraded. The Hidden One Dagger causes any poisoned enemy killed with a melee strike to explode into a cloud of poison, infecting others. Finally, the Hidden One Outfit increases your Focus Chunk regeneration as you perform silent kills, which helps slow down time and landing ranged strikes.
Berserker Build - AC Mirage
- Outfit: Sand Outift (Deluxe Edition DLC)/Milad's Outfit
- Sword: Rostam Sword/Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar
- Dagger: Abbasid Knight Dagger
The Berserker Build focuses on infecting enemies with rage, turning them against allies, and fighting alongside your newfound companions. You'll want the Blowdart with the Berserker Dart upgrade, Noisemaker with the Terror upgrade, and Smokebomb with the Mindwipe upgrade.
For this build, I recommend the Sand Outfit, or if you do not have the Deluxe Edition, the Milad's Outfit. The Sand Outfit allows you to survive a lethal hit, which is handy when facing multiple enemies
Choose the Rostam Sword or the Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar, and then the Abbasid Knight Dagger for your weapons. The Rostam Sword increases the damage of every consecutive attack, making combos stronger. Your other sword option (Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar) halves your health, but your attacks do 50% more damage. Lastly, the Abbasid Knight Dagger increases Basim's dagger when his health falls below 50%.
Master Assassin Build - AC Mirage
- Outfit: Initiate of Alamut Outfit/Rostam Outfit
- Sword: Zanj Uprising Sword/Initiate of Alamut Sword
- Dagger: Rostam Dagger
With the Master Assassin build, you play as the ultimate silent killer. You have more options for this build, but I recommend choosing between the Throwing Knives, Smokebomb, Noisemaker, and Blowdart, prioritizing upgrades that help you get away, remain detected, or perform silent kills from afar.
For your gear, you can use the Initiate of Alamut or Rostam Outfit, the Zanj Uprising or Initiate of Alumut Sword, and the Rostam Dagger. With the Initiate of Alamut Outfit, your silent kills become quieter, while the Rostam Outfit makes your movement quieter. Both are excellent choices for a stealthy assassin. The Zanj Uprising Sword increases the damage of your next strike after a perfect dodge, while the Initiate of Alamut does the same after a perfect parry; choose whichever one you want for increased combat effectiveness. For your dagger, go with the Rostam Dagger for extra damage when using Throwing Knives at close range.
Fire Build - AC Mirage
- Outfit: Zanj Uprising Outfit
- Sword: Abbasid Knight Sword
- Dagger: Zanj Uprising Dagger
The Fire build is a little odd and harder to make work, but it can be powerful in the right situation. It relies heavily on tools like the Noise Maker with the Sparks upgrade, the Smoke Bomb with the Flammable Smoke upgrade, the Trap with the Deadly Blast upgrade, and the Torch. While your gear and weapons are less important, I recommend the Zanj Uprising Outfit, Abbasid Knight Sword, and Zanj Uprising Dagger.
Sometimes I accidentally set citizens on fire while playing this build and used the Zanj Uprising Outfit to reduce the effect of illegal actions. The Outfit also helps plan your attack so citizens don't call the guard on you (also due to the reduced effect). Meanwhile, The Abbasid Knight Sword increases the damage of your attacks when your health drops below 50%, which mine did a lot trying to use this build. The Zanj Uprising Dagger is a great choice, too, as it restores your stamina upon dodging.
