Where to find Hotspots in Fortnite Season OG
Hotspots are POIs with a golden name on the Fortnite map. There are only three Hot Spots on the island in every match, which offer high-quality loot. The island’s Hotspots change every match, so make sure to scan them before landing on the island.
For example, this Fortnite match has Shifty Shafts, Snobby Shores, and Haunted Hills as Hotspots. But be careful, these are popular zones for many players, so expect a lot of action.
Where to find Supply Drones in Fortnite
Supply Drones can only be found at Hotspots in Fortnite, and you can easily destroy them when they are floating in the air. They have their own health points, so the weapon you choose will affect how long it takes to destroy them. Low-damage weapons will require more rounds to make them fall apart and drop valuable loot for you to collect.
Generally, the altitude of drones in an area varies as some hover near the ground while others fly higher. But they are all easy targets for your bullets. The loot is random, but you can always find at least one Rare weapon among the items. You may also get some ammo and medical supplies from the drones.
During my playthrough, I often got a big shield and an Epic rarity weapon by taking down supply drones. But I also ran into other players who were after these drones, so I recommend you sweep the place first and then destroy them.
