When having fun in a Roblox experience, whether alone or with friends, I of all people know that the last thing you want to see is an error code, especially one that doesn't seem to have a clear fix. Though error code 610 does come with a description when it appears, said description doesn't offer much actual information and can be confusing, which is why I've created the brief guide below that explains how you can fix this pesky error.

What is error code 610 in Roblox and how to fix

Error code 610 was an exceptionally common error code to receive on Roblox in 2021, and specifically at the beginning of 2021. It would typically appear when players would attempt to join private servers (both their own servers and servers of their friends), and would read something similar to "Cannot join game with no authenticated user." As with most Roblox error codes, there were also two buttons that players could interact with—one that said Cancel, and one that said Retry. Players then quickly learned that pressing Retry would clear up the error and load them into the correct experience and server.

Because this issue became so prominent in such a short amount of time, it was speedily brought to the attention of Roblox developers, who fixed the issue not long after. Though this error code can still appear, it happens far less nowadays. If for some reason it does appear for you, simply press the Retry button to reload yourself into Roblox—this should still fix the issue! If the issue persists, try logging out of Roblox and logging back in.
