Ara History Untold release date

Although we don't have an exact release date for the game yet, during the Xbox Developer Direct, they announced the approximate release to be around Fall 2024. We will most likely hear a date as we get closer to this release window, so stay tuned!

All Ara History Untold platforms

If you're a console gamer, you will be sadly disappointed to hear that Ara History Untold will be restricted to PC only. Strategy games like this play better on a computer with a mouse and keyboard, but that's not to say it couldn't be converted later on, much like the Age of Empires did.

Players on PC will be happy to hear that the game will be available to play on the PC Game Pass on the game's release, so we can look forward to trying it out for free with our memberships!

What is Ara History Untold about?

Ara History Untold is a strategy game, much like Civilization or Age of Empires, where you establish a nation and lead it into war against other nations. However, it promises to be so much more than the usual strategy game because it will combine features of city-building and sim games as well.

We can play as several historic leaders across all global nations, playing across multiple eras of time. With more realistic-styled maps with randomly generated environments, we will explore and gather resources to begin developing our own settlements. The choices you make will also affect the landscapes around you and the citizens you take under your care.

Prestige Points are an important feature of Ara, essential for winning the game. You aim to build up the most impressive nation you can against your opponents. Prestige Points are given for multiple factors of your civilization: commerce, culture, government, industry, military, religion, and science. If you have the most total Prestige Points across all factors, you'll beat your opponents as the greatest nation in the world and will also determine what kind of leader you are.
