The Forgotten Kingdom DLC in Remnant 2 brings a new explorable area set in Yaesha, full of tricky puzzles and hidden loot. The sand room in the Ancient Canopy is one of these areas, so here's how to solve this quicksand puzzle in-game to get the special loot.
Where to find the Sand room at Ancient Canopy in Remnant 2 Forgotten Kingdom
The Sand room puzzle can be accessed after you've crossed the Deserted Atelier area and repositioned the Sunken Tower in the Ancient Canopy. You'll start the game at the Ancient Canopy and soon come across Walt near a checkpoint. Next to the checkpoint, there is the Sunken Tower which needs to be repositioned by pulling a lever.
After exiting the Deserted Atelier, your character returns to the Ancient Canopy but from a different entrance. You'll find Walt at this location examining a mural, and there's a locked door just beside the NPC. Rest at the checkpoint and speak to Walt. Once that's done, interact with the lever to reposition the Sunken Tower. The locked door also opens after pulling the lever, enter through it to find a lift that takes you below.
Once you've reached the Sunken Tower, do not go directly to the Bloodless Throne area. Instead, head down the Sunken Tower to reach the Sand room located in the lower recesses of the Ancient Canopy. Check the white circle on the map image above to see the precise location of this room.
How to cross the Sand Room Ancient Canopy in Remnant 2 Forgotten Kingdom
After reaching the lower floor, climb down the ladders to find a cave-like entrance to the Sand room. The room itself is filled with quicksand, and the wall on the left shoots fire darts along the entire path. This is the trickiest part of the puzzle as you must calculate the interval between every arrow and walk along the safe pathway between the darts.
If you are looking to get the Invoker Archetype, then your objective would be to reach the top-right-hand corner of the room, close to the two sand deposits. This is where you can stand for a few minutes before the quicksand teleports your character to the hidden room below.
Alternatively, if you are looking for the Disciple armor set, make your way across the Sand room. The armor set can be looted from a corpse located directly opposite the entrance. Either way, you can collect both unique loot items, head back to the Ancient Canopy, and continue with the main storyline.
