Is there co-op multiplayer in A Plague Tale Requiem?

A Plague Tale: Requiem is a solo adventure.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is the follow-up to the acclaimed A Plague Tale: Innocence and continues the story of Amicia and her brother Hugo. While you control Amicia in your journey, Hugo also plays a major role. With two characters being focused on, you may wonder if A Plague Tale: Requiem is co-op.

Does A Plague Tale Requiem have co-op?

The answer is no—there is no co-op or multiplayer of any kind in A Plague Tale: Requiem. Like the first title, A Plague Tale: Requiem is a single-player experience. While this does mean you can't play with a friend, it does mean that Asobo Studio has put all its time, energy, and assets into creating a compelling experience.

While there are no multiplayer or co-op features, you can still enjoy the game with a friend by having one player watch or passing the controller back and forth to take turns. You can also watch a streamer play through A Plague Tale: Requiem and experience it that way as well.

A Plague Tale: Innocence was also a single-player experience and did not receive any additions to multiplayer. This likely means that A Plague Tale: Requiem will also remain a single-player title.
