Best AFK Journey Characters Tier List
The AFK Journey tier list below lists characters ranked from best (S-tier) to worst (C-tier). You should always try to get heroes from the S and A ranks—though that doesn't mean others are useless. In fact, some characters from B-tier, like Berial, are excellent in certain modes.
That said, always look for top characters, even if you must reroll multiple times.

Best Story Team in AFK Journey

| Tank | Thoran and/or Temesia | Thoran is the first choice for the tank position, as he can revive himself. If possible, use Temesia also, as she can buy you time with stuns while you wait for Thoran to "wake up" |

| Support | Reiner and/or Koko | Always go for Reiner, as he can do everything from buffing and debuffing to healing. |

| Warrior | Kruger | Who says all characters must be S-tier to work? Kruger is a great example where he excels in Dream Realm thanks to his devastating attacks and debuffs. |
| Support | Reinier and Smokey | I recommend using both Reiner and Smokey on your team. The former is an all-around support, while the latter is arguably the best healer in the game. |
| Marksman | Marilee | If you can keep her safe, Marilee will obliterate spongy enemies, especially dream realm bosses. |
Best PvP Team in AFK Journey

| Tank | Granny Dahnie | Granny combines debuffs and heals making her very hard to kill. Her main role is to take damage and allow allies to maximize their damage output. |
| Warrior | Igor and Scarlita | Go with two warriors, Igor and Scarlita. You need as much pure damage as possible to catch enemies off guard. |
| Support | Smokey or Koko | With Granny having enough debuffs, your support characters can focus on buffs and heals. Of course, you can't be wrong with Reinier here. |
| Marksman | Odie | For even more firepower, choose Odie for the range poison damage. |
AFK Journey Reroll Guide
At the start of your AFK Journey, you'll have multiple chances to roll for good characters. I recommend rerolling until you get a couple of S-tier and A-tier characters like Thoran or Granny Dahnie.
