Myksha is a kitten you can meet in Baldur's Gate 3 in Act 3. This little cat asks Tav if they are his mama, and he will even follow you around for a bit. But many BG3 fans, myself included, wanted to bring this little baby back to camp with me, keeping him as a new furry addition to my growing list of camp pets.
What to do with Myksha in BG3
After finding little Myksha in Lower City (he's located around x:-13, y:-38 between the Bonecloak Apothecary and Wine Festival), you can choose to talk to the cat with Animal Speaking. Either find someone to cast the spell or drink a potion of Animal Speaking, and you can have a conversation with this fuzzy little man.
You'll find that Myksha (which is a Russian term of endearment meaning 'mouse' or 'little mouse') speaks a weird cat dialect called Mriaer, and you'll have to roll to understand it. It turns out that this furry friend is asking if you are his mother, and you can answer, "It is me, my son."
For a little while afterwards, little Myksha will follow your party around, happily yelling "Mother!" every time you interact with him. But when you go back to your campsite, he will not follow. At the time of writing, there does not seem to be a way to adopt the cutie, in spite of him being your son. Considering there is a zoo at your campsite already between Scratch, the Owlbear cub, Grub, and Minsc's Boo, one more wouldn't make a difference, right Larian Studios?
A possible adoption story for Myksha the Cat in BG3
I read on Reddit that it might be possible to get little Myksha adopted by the dwarf lady, Derryth, who wanted Noblestalk in the Underdark so badly. She runs the Bonecloak's Apothecary next to the alleyway where our son lurks. The thread said that if you off the worthless husband in the Underdark, then Derryth will have room for little Myksha in her shop. While I haven't tried this out yet, you can bet I will be trying it in my next playthrough.
