To fix issues connecting to Battlefield 2042 servers, players will need to first try ending all processes for Origin and EA.
Start by closing the Battlefield 2042 app and opening the task manager. You can do this usually by hitting the keys ctrl alt and delete at the same time.
After hitting all three keys, you will then need to click task manager at the bottom of the menu that will pop up. When the task manager appears on the screen, search for both EA background service and EAdesktop services.

Next, relaunch Battlefield 2042 and see if your connection problems have stopped. If the problem persists, repeat the same steps as before and end other EA services.
We also recommend ending Steam or the Epic Games launcher if you haven't tried already using the task manager. That said, after you end everything once again, launch Battlefield and see if you can connect this time.
How to fix Battlefield 2042 console connection errors
If you are playing on any console version of Battlefield 2042, there's not much else you can do other than restart your system or your game.Â
Because of that, we recommend first restarting the game and then relaunching to see if this method has fixed the issue. If it hasn't, move on to restarting your system and then trying again.Â
But if Battlefield 2042 still doesn't connect, it is most likely a connection error caused by a server issue on EA's end.Â
