To deploy a Ranger to your location, bring up the Ping or CommoRose wheel. Depending on the the input, you can do so by holding Q on the keyboard or RB (Right Bumper) on the controller. From the various options, you need to select Call-Ins Available located at the top of the wheel.

This will open a tab listing Utility, Light, and Armored vehicles / drones that can be ordered to your location. Order the Ranger from the Utility section if it's available by marking the drop location. If it's unavailable at the given moment, you can wait for a while for it to appear.

  • Instruct it to go to a location - Press E
  • Make it follow you - Press E twice
  • Self-Destruct the Ranger - Hold E

Now you can use the Ranger to your advantage in any combat sequence.
