How to survive a shipwreck in BitLife

Survive the unsurvivable!

One of my favorite features in BitLife is to own luxury vehicles and flaunt them with my virtual friends. Even among those, my absolute favorite is to have a holiday on my expensive yacht or speedboat. While the concept of a trip sounds exciting, sometimes, due to weather or any random fault, my little trip may end in disaster, requiring me to fight for my life and survive a shipwreck.

Luckily, after sinking several of my ships and numerous reruns of games, I finally learned the art of surviving a shipwreck. So, if you are a victim of several such incidents, read the below guide to pull through a catastrophe.

How to take swimming classes in BitLife

To get through a shipwreck in BitLife, the most essential thing is to learn to swim. By default, the game will not allow you to take swimming classes, as there are no such options in the Activities tab. But, still, you can learn how to swim in BitLife through a small hack. It's nothing but to sign up for your swimming team during middle school and level up your skill using the Practice Harder option. You can join the swimming team from the Activities section under your School tab.

Ensure to max (completely green) your swimming skill by the end of your high school.

Before taking out your ship or yacht to sea, you must purchase a boat in BitLife. To do this, you must own a Boat License. Once you turn 18, visit the License section under the Activities tab and select the Boat License option. Pay the License processing fee and answer a simple question related to ships/boats to acquire the Boat License.

After obtaining the License, the next step is to purchase a Ship. Head to the Shopping section and visit the Speciality Vehicle Dealers. Select a boat dealer and browse their catalog. Once you have found your dream boat or ship, purchase it on a mortgage or through cash. Voila! You are a proud owner of a ship/boat in BitLife.

The only thing left is to take your ship to the ocean and sink it while escaping the accident. Currently, no option in BitLife can purposely make your ship drown. So, all you can do is use the Ride option and wait till you get into an accident. It took me 15 times before my yacht sank due to harsh weather conditions. When you do get into a mishap, you will easily survive due to your amazing swimming skills honed through your school years.
