Best Weapon Memories for Veredicto in Blasphemous 2

Wield the Censor of the Flame with mastery.

When starting Blasphemous 2, I chose the Veredicto as my first weapon. The Veredicto is a large two-handed mace with a large attack radius at the cost of attack speed. But the Veredicto can be upgraded by unlocked Weapon Memories, so let's take a look at the best ones to pick for this weapon.

The Veredicto has three tiers of Weapon Memories. You must upgrade the weapon to unlock these. Once you have unlocked a new tier, there may be some Memories that are unlocked by purchasing other Memories. Here is the order I recommend picking up upgrades for Blasphemous 2's Veredicto.

Best Tier 1 Memory Upgrades - Veredicto

  1. Fiery Striker
    • Increases Fire damage inflicted.
  2. Crucible of Faith
    • Halves the time required to charge Veredicto.
  3. Determination
    • Increases base defence.
  4. Tempered Flames
    • Press R1 to turn off Veredicto, interrupting the consumption of Fervour. This display of temperance can even be performed in the air.
  5. Ignition Strike
    • Press R1 after an attack on the ground to convert it into a powerful horizontal strike that turns Veredicto on or off.
  6. Aerial Ignition
    • Press R1 in the air to activate Veredicto with a quick air strike. Can be used to cancel air strikes.

  3. Immaculate Harvest
    • Increases Fervour gain when attacking enemies with Veredicto.
  4. Azure Typhoon
    • You can hold a charged Veredicto in the air. Release Square in the air to perform the Azure Typhoon, a powerful aerial attack that hits both sides.
  5. And the Earth Shattered
    • Thunder of Mercy creates shockwaves on the ground on impact.

Best Tier 3 Memory Upgrades - Veredicto

  1. Sacred Bronze

  2. Endless Flame
    • Press R1 after an Ignition Strike to chain it into another attack.

How to upgrade Veredicto in Blasphemous 2

You can find various statues in Cvstodia holding weapons. To upgrade the Veredicto, interact with the statues holding this weapon. Doing so will unlock a new tier on the Veredicto and let you purchase additional upgrades. The Veredicto Statues can be found in different places depending on what weapon you start with and what weapons you are holding.
