Borderlands 3

The last numbered entry in the Borderlands catalog, Borderlands 3, puts players in control of one of four Vault Hunters as they travel the galaxy to stop a pair of live-streaming psychos from unraveling the cosmos. While the story of Borderlands 3 was controversial, the gameplay is second to none, offering even more class customization between the four Vault Hunters, each with their unique Action Skills and ability augmentations spanning four skill trees. With the additional six DLC packs, you'll have dozens of hours of content to explore as you loot your way through the Borderlands universe.

Borderlands 2

Those looking for a well-rounded story with an unforgettable antagonist ought to pick up Borderlands 2. The sophomore entry in the Borderlands franchise pits a separate pair of Vault Hunters against Handsome Jack, the corporate overlord of the Hyperion company. Players will race this narcissistic psychopath to a Vault hidden on the planet of Pandora. While the gameplay isn't as refined as in Borderlands 3, this entry has the most beloved narrative in the entire franchise.
