The Boys crossover has finally arrived in Call of Duty Warzone 2, allowing you to get superpowers from the new Temp V field upgrade. Activating Temp V grants a randomized superpower that gives you an advantage while engaging enemy squads. Naturally, you need to know how to use these abilities and the most effective Temp V power to use in the game. Here's how to find and use Temp V power in Warzone 2.
How to use Temp V powers in Warzone 2
Temp V is a field upgrade that can be found randomly while looting in Warzone 2. You can find it inside loot caches, toolboxes, containers, and other spaces. To activate a Temp V stim, equip it to the field upgrade slot. Keep in mind that equipping Temp V will disable your current field upgrade. Ideally, you should stow other field upgrades in your backpack before activating Temp V. After activating this item you will get one of four superpowers; Electrical Discharge, Teleport, Super Jump, and Laser Eyes.
While all of these superpowers are amazing, you can only use one at a time. Similarly, you will be granted a superpower at random, and the only way to select another power is to use one more Temp V field upgrade. Thankfully, you can stack Temp V stims in your inventory as shown in the image above. This way, you can use and extinguish your current superpower before selecting another one.
You will get a notification in-game saying "unsanctioned supe activity" when an enemy operator activates a Temp V power on the map. Check your tac-map to see their location, and plan accordingly to fight or escape. Some of these superpowers are designed to get you out of a tight spot, and you need to know the best ones to use in Warzone 2.
Warzone 2 Temp V powers ranked
Teleport
Teleport is by far the best Temp V power to use in Warzone 2. This superpower allows you to relocate instantly by teleporting your operator mid-air. Think of it as a personal redeploy drone that can be used in any scenario. I would recommend holding this ability to reposition when you are outnumbered by an enemy squad.
Super Jump
Super Jump is another solid Temp V power that provides you with ultimate mobility in Warzone 2. Using Super Jump, you can easily leap across buildings to escape from enemy teams or rush them. This superpower can be used while parachuting, making it one of the best movement tricks in the game. You can position yourself at a good vantage point by using Super Jump in between fights. Likewise, Super Jumps works in all four directions, and all you need to do is hold the directional input while pressing the field upgrade button.
Electrical Discharge
Electric Discharge is primarily meant to disable vehicles and enemy equipment within a range. While it is not the most powerful Temp V power, Electric Discharge can get you free kills in tight situations. This power functions as a Shock Stick when used on enemy operators, and the best part is you can use it through walls. Instead of manually clearing a house full of campers, you can activate Electric Discharge to damage them and get a few eliminations quickly.
Laser Eyes
The Laser Eyes Temp V power is similar to Homlander's superpower from The Boys. This ability is quite strong, but it has a few drawbacks that put it at the tail end of the Temp V powers in Warzone 2. First, the Laser Eyes animation takes a while to charge, and it keeps your operator stationary while doing so. This makes your character an easy target for enemies. Similarly, controlling the laser can be tricky. The only advantage of having Laser Eyes is that you can knock and eliminate enemies within a few seconds. I would recommend using the Laser Eyes tactically on isolated enemies or on unaware squads.
