Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 are currently in Season 2, and players are enjoying the new Resurgence mode on the Ashika Island map. When is Season 2 Reloaded coming in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2?
According to a video trailer from Twitter user @JC_RoseThorn, Call of Duty MW2 and Warzone 2 Reloaded will begin on March 16, 2023. The video shows several popular characters and weapons with unseen unique cosmetics. The post also highlights that Modern Warfare 2 will have a free trial period from March 16 to 20, 2023. While this trailer video shows an uncanny resemblance to official Call of Duty teasers, players should take it with a grain of salt as Activision has not confirmed anything at the time.

Shortly after, Raven Software posted an update on Twitter highlighting that patch notes for the next Season 2 Reloaded update will be released on March 15, 2023. One of the major changes includes the Bomb Drone being disabled from Warzone 2. Players are also expecting to see Raid Episode 2 arrive in Season 2, along with the upcoming mid-season content drop.
The other highlight for the upcoming update in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is the arrival of Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as this character was teased in an official trailer. Besides new weapons and operators, you can also expect to see double XP weekends returning during Season 2 Reloaded.
