Smoking Gun DMZ Mission Guide

Smoking Gun is a Tier 2 mission for the Redacted faction in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 DMZ. This mission tasks players to infiltrate three high-threat locked spaces on Al Mazrah: Control Tower, Downtown Post Office, and US Embassy.

• Clear the Air Traffic Control Tower at A.M. International.
• Clear the Al Mazrah City Post Office.
• Clear the U.S. Embassy.

You can clear out these three locked spaces in multiple deployments using there specific keys, which can be found as loot and purchased from the Buy Stations if available. Alternatively, you can use the Skeleton Key, which can unlock all the buildings, and get this mission done in one match. While exploring these areas, beware of the tripwire grenades and heavily armored bots.

How to clear the Air Traffic Control Tower at A.M. International in DMZ

The Air Traffic Control Tower is located in Al Malik Airport and you'll need the Control Tower Key to unlock this building. Climb the ladder and then take zipline up to reach the top entrance shown in the second image. Unlock the door using the key, head up the stairs, and clear out any AI soldiers by the comms station.

Now make your way to the bottom of the tower and eliminate the enemies there. Make sure to use the Drill Charge lethal to kill the enemy held up inside the locked Tower Conference Room on the second level. You can also try shooting through the wall and maybe you'll get a lucky hit on target.

How to clear the Al Mazrah City Post Office in DMZ

Next up, acquire the Downtown Post Office Key and head over to Al Mazrah City and clear the building shown on the map above. We recommend you take either of the two roof entrances shown in the second picture. If you take the right entrance, work your way down to the ground level and then take the elevator that'll lead you to the top of the left section of the facility.

How to clear the U.S. Embassy in DMZ

The US Embassy Key can be used to unlock the next building you need to clear out, which is also situated in Al Mazrah City. Jump off from the nearest tall building and land near the roof entrance shown in the second image. Unlock the door using the key and make your down eliminating the bots on the first and second levels. The US Embassy complex has two more locked buildings, but you only need to clear the main section for the Smoking Run mission.
