How does Unhinged mode work in Call of Duty Warzone 2?

Warzone 2 has a brand-new feature called Assimilation. Using this feature, you can invite enemy players to your squad or join parties with their squad to secure the win. This feature only lets you fill up players up to the squad limit in regular BR modes. For instance, if one of your teammates leaves the game in BR Quads, you can invite only one enemy to join your squad.

Assimilation works differently in Unhinged BR mode. Currently, the Unhinged BR Trios playlist is life in which you can team up with enemies to keep up to six players in your squad. If you and your team of three players want to increase your chances of winning, try asking another trio team via proximity chat if they want to join you. You can assimilate by inviting players or joining them using your ping wheel. If you send an invite to team up, the enemy players who accept will be added to your squad list for the match.
