The Modern Warfare 2 is broken up into two weekends. The first weekend is available to PlayStation users, as Activision is still fond of time exclusives and deals with the platform. The following weekend will come back to PlayStation, but is also kind enough to include Xbox and PC users. Here are the details.
When is the Modern Warfare 2 Beta on Xbox?
Weekend One
- September 16 to 17: PlayStation Early Access
- September 18 to 20: PlayStation Open Beta
Weekend Two
- September 22 to 23: Xbox & PC Early Access, PlayStation Open Beta
- September 24 to 26: All Platforms Open Beta
There are a few details that can make the process of accessing the beta easier. Xbox and PC digital pre-orders do not need a code. Users can download the beta from their respective stores. Physical retail pre-orders or if redeeming a code from other sources must be done through the Call of Duty website. Finally, PlayStation users don't need to do anything special as this is an open weekend for the platform.
