For a general type of pollution (often complained about by residents in their homes) problem in Cities Skylines 2, make sure you have placed residential zones further away from industrial zones and other medium-high pollution buildings. If you are looking to fix a more specific type of pollution, you'll need a more specialized solution.

How to remove ground pollution in Cities Skylines 2

Ground pollution is not too hard to get rid of in Cities Skylines 2. It usually just takes some tweaking and patience until you get it right. If you want to reduce ground pollution, you need to:

• Replace your current power with a Solar Power Plant (unlock in development tree)
• Move any building with high ground pollution away from your residential zones

Air pollution can be fixed in Cities Skylines 2 in much the same way you can reduce other types of pollution, with one caveat. Wind and wind direction will also affect this pollution. Overall, to remove air pollution you can:

• Replace your current power with a Solar Power Plant (unlock in development tree)
• High pollution buildings, like Coal Power Plants, need to be kept away from city areas frequented by citizens.
• Pay attention to wind direction and place buildings in a way in which air pollution doesn't travel towards residents.
