Best Almond Cookie Toppings build in Cookie Run: Kingdom

Sherlock Holmes has got some serious competition.

Almond Cookie is an Epic Support Cookie and a seasoned detective who runs the Magical Emergency Handling department of Parfaedia. In battle, he's an amazing Support who excels in both the World Exploration and Arena, with a unique Skill that is quintessential for boosting the team's DPS.

Almond Handcuffs: Uses magical handcuffs to apprehend the enemy with the lowest max HP (targets Cookies first) and apply the DMG Link debuff, which disperses a portion of damage the apprehended enemy receives between up to five linked enemies (cannot be applied to summoned creatures). Cannot be interrupted.

Skill specs:

  • Cooldown: 15 seconds
  • Damage Link DMG: 70 percent (+0.6 percent DMG per level)
  • Duration: three seconds

Almond Cookie's DMG Link works after an initial bout of DMG has been dealt to enemies. That means another Cookie will typically deal DMG first, and then Almond Cookie will immediately follow up with his Skill to spread the first Cookie's DMG, further increasing the total DPS output. However, the DMG is counted toward the initial Cookie's DMG—not Almond's.

There are two ways to approach Almond Cookie's Toppings. Most players opt to build him with a full set of Swift Chocolates to maximize his cooldown reduction, which will ensure that he can spam his Skill to improve the team's DPS. When you opt for this approach, make sure to aim for DMG resist bonus stats, as Almond is quite squishy and needs a boost in survivability.

Alternatively, you can also opt for a full Solid Almond build to improve Almond Cookie's survivability from the get-go, and then aim for cooldown reduction bonus stats. As for Treasures, make sure to always equip the Squishy Jelly Watch for cooldown reduction.
