How to get the Ancient Pickaxe in Core Keeper

The best pickaxe in the game!

In Core Keeper, the current best and rarest pickaxe in the game is the Ancient Pickaxe. With an incredible 82-100 attack damage, 354 mining damage, and +9% mining damage, this thing is genuinely incredible. But how do you get the Ancient Pickaxe in Core Keeper?

The Ancient Pickaxe is only obtainable by killing Azeos the Sky Titan. One of the three titans in the game, Azeos spawns in his own arena in the Azeos’ Wilderness.

If you kill Azeos the Sky Titan, the titan has a 4.11% chance for one of it's 5-6 drops being the Ancient Pickaxe. However, with Ancient Gemstone and Scarlet Ore being one of the drops with a much higher rate, it's extremely unlikely to get the Ancient Pickaxe on the first drop.

Instead, you’ll have to resummon and kill Azeos again. To do this, you’ll need to craft a Large Shiny Glimmering Object at the Ancient Hologram Pad. Next, place the Large Shiny Glimmering Object inside the Azeos arena where you first killed him. This will spawn the boss so you can kill it again.

You may have to repeat this process multiple times, and each time will consume a Large Shiny Glimmering Object. However, your reward for perseverance is the best pickaxe in the game, so it’s worth it in the end.
