Mining these deposits will grant you a couple of Tin Ore drops. You can then take the freshly mined Tin Ore and turn them into Tin Bars. To turn Tin Ore into Bars, you will need a Furnace. You can get a Furnace by crafting one with 20 Dirt Walls.

You can gather 20 Dirt Walls from breaking Dirt Walls while mining. Once you have 20 Dirt Walls, locat the Crafting Section in a Workbench.

After crafting and placing the Furnace, you can smelt the Tin Ore you got earlier from the Clay Caves Biome. To smelt Tin Ore in a Furnace, simply open the Furnace up and chuck the ore inside it. Afterward, the ore will melt and turn into Tin Bars.
