How to use Voice Chat in Core

The voice is not in your head.

Core offers voice chat for players to communicate with one another and is simple to use. Voice chat can be used both in games and in the Core World.

Voice chat in Core is set to default as push to talk. The default key for this is set as Y. By pressing the push to talk key you can talk in game only when you need to. Other settings are toggle to talk and detect talking. You can switch between party voice chat where only those in it can hear you or to general where all players can hear you. The default setting for voice channels is set to party. When using voice chat, you will see a speaker icon appear next to your name or whichever player is speaking.

Core has many options for voice chat as well. In the audio categories in the settings menu, you can change various aspects. You can change voice chat volume and microphone volume. You can change your output and input device as well. If you do not want to talk, you can also disable voice chat all together.
