How to steal cars and keep them in Cyberpunk 2077

In short, to steal a car, all you need to do is get inside one that is sitting around unattended and drive off with it. You can also hijack any vehicle on the road or in the street, provided that you have the required body attribute level. 

For example, the car in the image above needed at least 6 points to "take control of it," also, be careful doing this because it's a quick way to get a warrant. Along with that, you might not even want to bother with stealing cars, as there is no way to keep stolen vehicles, which brings us to how to buy cars. 

How to buy cars and how to unlock them

In short, to buy cars, you will need to purchase them from Fixers when they offer to sell them to you. But in order to get to this point, you will need to level your street rep to a specific level. 

Then while you are strolling around in a particular neighborhood, you may get a call from them where they will offer to sell you a new car. However, it is worth noting that this may take a while to happen, so you might want to do some missions or bounties in the meantime. Once you get a call, you can buy whatever vehicle they offer you, provided you have enough money.

You can also earn cars from doing both main quests and side quests, so keep playing, and you will eventually earn more. Along with this, you can even unlock and buy new cars from just entering new areas, like the badlands.
