The biggest update since the game's launch, it's caused some players to run into bugs, like the screen glitch effect. Screen glitch effect solution - Cyberpunk 2077 2.0

In the story, whenever Relic Malfunction happens, your character V suffers a minor brain seizure. The sound and screen seem distorted for a short while after which the effects disappear. However, players reported that this screen glitch effect stuck with them permanently.

Update: The fix is included in Patch 2.01 and it will be coming very soon.

This happened when someone selected the "Fucked in the head worse than me" dialogue choice while talking to Johnny during the Automatic Love quest. The developers at CD Projekt RED soon acknowledged the problem and told players they were working on a fix, which has now been released.

If you're playing Cyberpunk 2077 on PC and facing a similar problem even now, you can try another workaround that has worked for some players: downloading the FX Begone mod. Using it is said to remove the permanent screen glitch bug. This mod also removes some other visual effects in the game like Johnny glitches, fall damage, zoom and scope pixelation, and drug effects.
