How to save in Cyberpunk 2077

To save in Cyberpunk 2077, all you need to is to pull up the main options menu by pressing Esc if playing on PC or by pressing Options/Start if playing on console. Navigate to Save Game, then either select a new file or override an already existing file, and your game will be saved.

There is a quick save option for both PC and console users. For PC players, if you are using a mouse and keyboard, all you have to do is press F5, which will automatically quicksave the game. Console gamers, you have to open up the main options menu by pressing Options/Start on the controller, then hit Triangle or Y, depending on what console you are using. Remember, you can only have a single quicksave save slot, so every time you quicksave, it will overwrite the existing one.

Cyberpunk 2077 has an autosave checkpoint system, but like most games with this, you shouldn't rely on it. Autosaves are pretty infrequent, so always manually save the game, as you don't want any progress to be lost! The Autosaves are handy if your game crashes or freezes, and you might only lose a bit of progress; however, upon loading the game back up, we would recommend saving!
