Cyberpunk 2077 2.0's update reworked the perk trees in-game. One of these changes added a perk called Built Different that mentions cyberware called the Cellular Adapter. If you're like me, you are probably wondering what the Cellular Adapter is in Cyberpunk 2077. Here's everything you need to know.
Cellular Adapter Cyberware in Cyberpunk 2.0 Explained
The Cellular Adapter Cyberware is an Integumentary System Cyberware added in Update 2.0 that grants players health and some carry capacity. At tier 5, the Cyberware grants up to +13 carry capacity and +2.6 health along with the following stat boosts if installed:
- 0.5 percent grenade recharge speed.
- One percent explosion resistance.
- 0.5 percent Tech weapon damage.
- 0.5 percent health item recharge speed.
Players can also boost these stats for every attribute point in the Technical ability, so I recommend getting the Cellular Adapter Cyberware if you have a lot of points in Technical. Combine the cyberware with a decent tech weapon such as Breakthrough or Apparition, and you're ready to go.
How to get the Cellular Adapter Cyberware in Cyberpunk 2.0
To get the Cellular Adapter Cyberware in Cyberpunk 2.0, players must first unlock the Built Different perk inside the Technical ability perk tree. You can unlock Built Different by putting over 15 points into the Technical ability tree and grabbing the perk shown below. You'll also need at least one perk point to unlock the perk.
Once unlocked, you can head to any Ripper doc and buy the Cellular Adapter via the Integumentary System Cyberware tab.
