Which Strand Fragments should you unlock first in Destiny 2?

Hunter- Thread of Ascent

If you are playing the Hunter Threadrunner subclass, then Thread of Ascent is a must-have. This Fragment reloads your equipped weapon and grants bonus airborne effectiveness when you activate your grenade ability. Although this Fragment already synergizes well with the Grapple grenade, it additionally provides a +10 bonus to Mobility. Alternatively, if you are running the Threadling grenade, you may want to invest in the Thread of Evolution fragment. If you've chosen the Shackle grenade, you should instead purchase the Thread of Mind fragment.

Warlock- Thread of Evolution

If you are playing the Warlock Broodweaver subclass, then Thread of Evolution should be your first priority. This Fragment empowers your Threadlings, allowing them to travel farther and deal additional damage. It also provides a +10 boost to Intellect, which is a welcome bonus for Warlocks. After you acquire this Fragment, your next step should be Thread of Rebirth. This Fragment gives every Strand weapon final blow a chance to spawn a Threadling, increasing the size of your minion army.

Titan- Thread of Continuity

If you are playing the Titan Berserker subclass, then you should purchase Thread of Continuity first. This Fragment increases the duration of Suspend, Unravel, and Sever effects, while providing a +10 boost to Strength. Thread of Continuity synergizes perfectly with the Berserker's kit, causing their melee and Super abilities to hit harder than ever before. After purchasing this Fragment, you should invest in the Thread of Binding, which emits a Suspending burst on each Super final blow. Additionally, it grants you a +10 bonus to Resilience, which is a nice helping hand.
