How to fix Cold Boot Quest bug in Destiny 2

Frequently players will get stuck on the Cold Boot quest because of a progression bug. To fix the Destiny 2 Cold Boot quest bug, all you need to do is head back to earlier in the level.

You will need to head to the point where there is an open hole in a wall with a lot of sparking Arch energy charges. Wait around this point near the entrance to the area, and Ghost will start to speak about Arch energy.

When Ghost finishes his dialogue, you will be able to progress and complete the Cold Boot quest. However, if you are still getting the error and Ghost has still not talked, try heading back even farther in the level.

After heading farther back, proceed forward until you get back to the room with the sparks. Stop around the entrance, and Ghost should start talking. Let him finish, and then progress again.
