Which class should I start with in Diablo Immortal?

There are six total classes in Diablo Immortal—Crusader, Barbarian, Monk, Wizard, Demon Hunter, and Necromancer. The easiest classes, to begin with, are the Barbarian or the Necromancer. Here are the pros and cons of each class.

Barbarian

The Barbarian is a melee close that can dish out massive damage. It can also withstand a lot of damage, acting as a tank and warrior. Additionally, the Barbarian's Lacerate ability allows them to heal while dealing damage.

  • Pros:
    • Easy to learn
    • High Durability
    • Great AoE damage
  • Cons:
    • Long cooldowns
    • Melee only
    • Suffers at single-target damage

Crusader

The Crusader fills out multiple roles with abilities mixing melee and ranged attacks. This class has its foot in the tank, mage, and warrior role, meaning it is quite versatile. The Crusader excels at dealing with large crowds of enemies.

  • Pros:
    • Great crowd control
    • High durability
    • Good in a team
  • Cons:
    • Long cooldowns
    • Suffers at single-target damage
    • Low mobility

Demon Hunter

The Demon Hunter is a mobile ranged class that uses its weapons and traps together. This includes turrets, mines, and other skills that let them damage the enemy from afar. Additionally, the Demon Hunter can use its knockback abilities to keep the enemy away.

Wizard

The Wizard is the iconic ranged spellcaster, excelling at dealing damage from afar. As a Wizard, you will want to avoid getting close to enemies, but if this occurs, you can escape using a teleport or protect yourself with magical armor and buffs.

    • Highly mobile
    • Great crowd control
