Where are Mangrove Trees located in Dinkum?

Mangroves can be found on the banks of rivers that are spread across the island. The dark-brown areas on the map are the hotspot destinations for these trees. You can cut down these mangrove trees to get mangrove sticks as a product. However, there are two specific tasks that you need to do beforehand to be able to collect mangrove sticks:

  • Logging License: This license can be bought for 250 Permit Points from Fletch. It is required as it grants you the ability to cut down trees and purchase axes. Permit Points that you need to buy this license can be acquired by completing Milestones that are marked in your journal.
  • Basic Axe: You need to buy a Basic Axe for 1,200 Dinks from John the shopkeeper, which you can then use to chop down mangroves and palm trees.

Once you have bought the axe, head over to the location where you can find mangroves, i.e., by the river. Approach a tree and hit it with your axe a few times to strike it down. You can now collect the mangrove sticks that may also fall in the water. Also remember that trees give you more sticks than smaller shrubs.
