The Deep Mine is a high-risk, high-reward location with several unique resources and a chest to find that contains items not found anywhere else. Here is a checklist to remember before entering the Mine:

  • To maximize your time underground, enter the Mine in the morning.
  • Bring Old Keys. These can be used to unlock doors.
  • Bring food to restore energy when mining and health after getting attacked.
  • Empty your inventory.
  • Bring a Torch (or Mining Helmet) and multiple Pickaxes.
  • Put Rubies in the elevator to bring back to the surface with you at the end of the day.

Rubies are sold for between 50,000 and 80,000 Dinks, depending on their size. Collecting as many of these during your Deep Mine exploration is the best way to profit from each run. Keep an eye out for chests; these can contain unique items such as Mu Saddles and Hang Gliders.
