It wouldn't be a great Halloween without some candy, and players can once again find them in Candy Buckets around their villages. Not only do they make great treats, but you can use them to complete some seasonal Dreamlight Duties, such as 'A 3 Course Halloween Meal'.

These seasonal Dreamlight Duty tasks can be quite the riddles, only providing subtle hints with their titles. You can find them by heading to your Menu, Dreamlight tab, and scrolling to the Village category on the left side. Any tasks marked with a pumpkin icon are Halloween duties, which you can complete for exclusive rewards.

"A 3-Course Halloween Meal" is one task that can be misleading, since you might automatically assume that you'll be cooking something. In reality, you'll be hunting down candy. To complete these tasks, you'll need to collect three different types of candy—Red, Green, and Purple—and eat them.

Halloween Candy Buckets can be found throughout the Plaza during the Halloween event, which takes place from October 24 to November 1. They can appear as Orange, Green, or Purple buckets. Once you pick them up, you'll have to wait for new ones to respawn. Purple buckets give purple candy, green buckets give green candy, and orange buckets give red candy.

To obtain your candy, approach a Candy Bucket on the ground and interact with it by pressing A on your controller or E on your keyboard. The bucket will disappear and drop the candy down on the ground somewhere nearby. It will sparkle, making it easier to find.

To complete the task, make sure to open your Inventory and eat one of each colored candy. This will be your three-course meal, fitting for the holiday. Open your Dreamlight menu and collect your reward by clicking on your completed task.

Completing "A 3-Course Halloween Meal" will grant you the 'Green Trick or Treaters Bounty' furniture item. This decor item looks exactly like the green Candy Buckets you can find around the village, and you will find it in your Furniture menu right after completing the task.

Don't miss out on completing your seasonal tasks! Usually, they are only able to be completed during the holiday events, when you have access to the limited-time items, like the Candy Buckets. You'll get some pretty great decorations and other goodies for completing them.
