Best XP farm location in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Let's be honest, Dragon's Dogma, in general, excels more in the late-game rather than the early-game.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is a massive action RPG centered around the growth of the Arisen through fighting various monsters, from goblins to massive dragons. In this guide, I'll show you the best XP farm locations for the early, mid, and late game in Dragon's Dogma 2.

Best XP and DCP farm locations in Dragon's Dogma 2

XP and DCP farming for early game revolves around setting a camp in a very vulnerable area. Think of placing your camping kit in a flat area where enemies can easily access your location instead of on top of a hill. It also includes buying lots of camping kits—more on that later.

Initially, I found a possible bug that lets me respawn bosses as soon as I go to sleep on a camping site. The best camp site I found for this is at the secret entrance to Bakbattahl (check the map above for its exact location).

The jist of this method is to enter through the secret path wherein one or two bosses will spawn, go back to camp and rest, then the bosses will respawn again.

The problem with this method is it's unreliable. Bosses may or may not spawn, so that's the reason why I think it's a bug. You can definitely try it for yourself, but be wary that it may not work for you.

The other method I found still revolves around Camping Kits, more specifically in the Battahl region (refer to the map above). You can make your way to the farming location from the Secret Entrance, so it's a good idea to clear all the enemies there to level your character to at least 18-20.

Dragon's Dogma 2 has a mechanic where you can get ambushed by random enemies within the vicinity, and we'll be exploiting that for this method.

At this point, you should have a Portcrystal in Bakbattahl as it's one of the best locations to place one. Purchase all Mundane Camping Kits from Isaac in Bakbattahl. From Bakbattahl, head to the Battahl Ropeway Central Station then onto Station Two. Follow the map above to get to the camp site.

Once you get to the camp site, keep camping until you get an enemy ambush. Defeat all of the enemies, and you'll earn a ton of XP and DCP (i.e. 400 XP per enemy and around 60 DCP). Upon ambush, you'll likely lose your camping kit, repeat the process until your camping kits are gone and Ferrystone your way back to Bakbattahl to purchase more kits!
