Steps to delete the Steam Cloud saves for Dragon's Dogma 2
Before proceeding with these steps, remember that you might face a soft ban for 24 hours because Capcom wants to protect players from Pawn spam or Hacked Pawns. Instead, you can edit your Pawn for free or change their Inclination in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
However, if you still haven't spawned your Pawn or did not agree to play online, you should be safe with these steps:
- Head over to your Steam folder, usually in the Program Files (x86) folder in the system Disk, i.e. C Drive.
- Navigate to the folder called 2054970, and for me, it was here; you can copy-paste this address for quick access:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\1157700552\2054970
- Go inside the Remote folder and delete the win64_save folder.
- When done, open Dragon's Dogma 2's properties from Steam and disable Cloud Save from the General Tab.
- Launch the game and go to settings to change any options that prompt the Save Settings to get a new Local Save.
- Head back to Steam without closing the game, enable Cloud Saves from the properties, and close the game.
- Launch the game again, and you will see a Cloud Save and Local Save conflict pop-up this time.
- Select the Local saves to override the Cloud Saves in Steam, and now you have a brand cloud save to work with in Dragon's Dogma 2.
