Dying Light 2 is arriving on Feb. 4, 2022, and players cannot wait to enjoy the new co-op mode confirmed by Techland. Dying Light 2 is set 20 years after the first game's events, and players can expect the Prologue chapter to act as a guide to all the mechanics introduced in the game.
Before unlocking co-op play, players will have to complete the Prologue in single-player mode. Although the developers confirmed that players could play and finish the game with a four-member squad, the Prologue section is only for single-player mode.Â
The Prologue chapter introduces the basics of Dying Light 2 and helps you understand the events after the previous game. You cannot skip the Prologue, and it's recommended for new players who will be playing Dying Light for the first time.
Once that is done, you can dive into co-op mode with your friends and start exploring the map. Techland announced earlier that players will be able to play the Epilogue in co-op mode, and it will be interesting to see how that happens once the game releases.
