Where to find more Inhibitors in Dying Light 2

Raise Aiden's health and stamina!

Inhibitors are perhaps the most important item in Dying Light 2, as they are required to increase Aiden's health and stamina. Players can upgrade their health or stamina after finding three Inhibitors by searching the map. It is ideal to collect as many Inhibitors as one can find while progressing through the story mode.

Inhibitors are scattered all across the map in Dying Light 2. Players can most often find them at GRE Quarantine buildings, GRE Anomalies, Military airdrops, Metro stations. The prologue of Dying Light 2 will give players six Inhibitors, enough to upgrade twice. However, you will need to find more to improve stamina and health.

  • GRE Anomalies - These areas are guarded by a stronger infected enemy that can be defeated to acquire Inhibitors.
  • GRE Quarantine buildings - Fight through waves of infected to collect Inhibitors located at quarantined buildings.
  • Military Airdrops - Airdrops have a chance of containing Inhibitors but they are usually found at top of buildings which can be hard to reach.
  • Metro Stations - After powering up the Metro Stations, players will have a chance to find Inhibitors in the Safe Room.

Finding Inhibitors can be tough in Dying Light 2 if players do not follow all the audio and visual cues. For instance, an audio cue plays every time players are 50m away from an Inhibitor container. GRE Anomalies and GRE Quarantine buildings do have Inhibitors, but they also have hordes of undead waiting to devour Aiden.
