How to get Sword Lance (Map Location) in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

One of my favorite weapons I've discovered is the Sword Lance in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. Here is how to find the Sword Lance in Elden Ring's Shadow Realm.

Where to find Sword Lance in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

The Sword Lance in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree requires two steps. The first is to defeat Commander Gaius in the Shadow Keep and collect the Remembrance of the Wild Boar. You must then take this Remembrance to Enia at the Roundtable Hold to turn it into the Sword Lance. I recommend duplicating the Remembrance at a Walking Mausoleum before doing this, as you need two of Gaius Remembrances to get both items he gives.

Once you have the Remembrance of the Wild Boar, return to the base game map and locate the Roundtable Hold. You'll need to give the Remembrance of the Wild Boar to Enia, the Finger Reader to get the Sword Lance.

Sword Lance Scaling, Affinity, & Best Build in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

The Sword Lance is a cool weapon and one of my favorite thrusting swords. I particularly like the Spinning Gravity Thrust skill it gives you. It's a strong, flashy attack that closes the distance between you and an enemy. The Sword Lance scales with Strength and Dexterity, but you're better off focusing on strength.

For Ashes of War, the Gravity Ash of War pairs perfectly for thematic reasons, and it's a useful one. I also like using Bloody Slash with the Sword Lance. When upgrading this weapon, you need smithing stones and an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.

Where to find Walking Mausoleum in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

There are numerous Walking Mausoleums in the Shadow Realm, but I used the one located near the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. You must reach the Mausoleum's body to use the altar and duplicate the Remembrance. Some require the Spiritspring Jump or have alternate routes to reach them. Once inside, interact with the altar and duplicate the Remembrance of the Wild Boar.

Where to find the Roundtable Hold in Elden Ring

The Roundtable Hold is found in the base game of Elden Ring. Open your map and select it as your fast travel point. Once there, locate Enia, the Finger Reader, and speak to them. Select the Remembrance of the Wild Boar and trade it for the Sword Lance.
