A bunch of collectibles are interspersed fairly evenly throughout the chapter, though the vast majority of what you'll find is cash. This is a great chapter for lining your wallet.

Where to find all Lore

Daily Mail News (1/4)

When you've regained control of Jesse, look to the crates and horses over to your left. Beside them, you should see two carriages. If you go behind the second carriage and look at the one nearest the building's entrance, you will find this news clipping.

President Lincoln and William Rentier

Once you've entered the building in front of the horse carriages from the previous collectible, you'll find a cart on the left side of the room. Go towards it, and you'll find this collectible.

Daily Mail News (2/4)

Go into the room on your left, and you should see a pair of desks. Look more closely at the desk closest to the windows to find the second part of the news clippings.

RI Files

Once you've found the second news clippings, turn around and locate the bookcase on the right of the room. Go to the bookcase and examine it.

Jesse Among RI Cadets

Once you've left the room, move down the hall. In the hallway, there is a small table in the corner with this piece of lore on top of it.

Civil War Time Photo

After examining the picture of Jesse with the cadets, leave the hallway and enter the main hall. After that, you'll go upstairs and head left, where you will find a bookcase containing this photo.

First Prototype of the Gauntlet

Staying on the same level as the Civil War Photo, move through the house until you stand directly above where the house's entrance should be on the floor below. There, you'll find the prototype.

A Portrait of William Rentier

You can find this collectible during the mission Attend the Presentation. Before you go through the door, look at the chair that's opposite the door to locate the portrait.

Jesse's Great Grandfather

To kickstart a family reunion of lore, go left in the room that's all green. The photo should be on a stretcher against the wall.

Where to find all Chests

There are no chests in this chapter.

Where to find all Bucks

First Cash

Once you've regained control of Jesse, go to the crates by the horses on your left. You'll find $126 stashed away.

Second Cash

Go to the wing of the building where you saw the picture of Jesse with the RI Cadets. Go directly upstairs to find a bookshelf with $105 sitting on it.

Third Cash

After the cutscene involved with the Attend the Presentation mission, drop down and navigate through the opening. Stick to the right side of the terrain, and you'll find $70 on the ground. It's fairly well hidden amongst the detritus and fire.

Fourth Cash

Keep moving and you'll reach a room loaded with red barrels and unhitched carriages. You'll find a chest on the left side of the room loaded with the most cash you've seen so far, a whopping $383.

Fifth Cash

Hit the switch and move down the tunnel. As you move, you'll find a glowing crate. Break the crate and take the $88 hidden within.

Sixth Cash

When you are inside the room with the giant Tesla coil, investigate the shelves that flank the right side of the room. There's $154 tucked inside there.

Seventh Cash

To get the $101, go up the ledge and into the room bathed in green light. From here, move downstairs to find a wooden crate on the left, behind a giant pillar.

Eighth Cash

In the green room, go across the room from where you found the photo of Jesse's great-grandfather, and there should be a glowing crate on another stretcher. Destroying this crate will give you $128.

Ninth Cash

While working on the mission Escape the Archives, you'll encounter an elevator. Break the chain on your right side for the $80.

Tenth Cash

When you are working to Find William Rentier, there will come a time when you need to crouch down before an opening. Before you do that, break the rightmost chain for $86.

Eleventh Cash

Once you've grabbed the blue energy charge, go to your right. You'll find a breakable chain and a glowing crate containing $115.

Twelfth Cash

You can find $296 almost immediately after entering the Rentier Institute. Look behind the tipped-over bed to find a chest full of cash.
