The seasons in Farming Simulator 22 are particularly realistic. With this feature, players can only grow certain plants at certain times of the year. There are a lot of players who want their farms to look and function the way they want, so, understandably, they want this feature turned off.
To turn off Seasons:
- Open the Menu.
- Scroll down to Game Settings (The tractor icon with a gear).
- Scroll down until you reach the Seasons setting.
- The first option will be Seasonal Growth. Turn that off.
How to change the season length in Farming Simulator 22
The reason most people turn off the Seasons setting is that one day per month is pretty fast. There are alternatives to turning off this feature, such as extending the season itself.
The Days per month option is located directly below Seasonal Growth. In general, players set this three days, but beginners will benefit from setting it to five days. New players will be able to learn each tool and experiment with it every month.
Plants may take too long to sell so don't use AI helpers if this is set to a longer duration. They charge by the minute, so you may run out of money before you can pay.
