Does Final Fantasy 16 have romance?

I've learned from playing games and watching TV shows that dragons and romance are the perfect combination. I fully expected to see both in Final Fantasy 16, given the franchise's history. So, does Final FF16 have romance?

While Final Fantasy 16 does have romance, it's very streamlined. FF16 is a story-driven roleplaying game, so you don't have any say in Clive's romantic decisions. The game has a story arc that, while satisfying, does not allow you to change it. If it's any consolation, our main character does get the girl in the end. Who is Clive's love interest in FF16? (SPOILER)

At the end of Final Fantasy XVI, Clive gets his girl, whose name is Valentine. As for what happens in the end with Clive and his girlfriend, they're on the beach, and no one's around to bother them. So while Final Fantasy 16 includes romance in its story, you won't be able to choose a different love interest or decide what happens to the couple in the end. All you can do is play out the story and enjoy!
